About Gelusil 100 Tablets

Gelusil is an over-the-counter antacid and anti-gas medication designed to provide quick relief from symptoms associated with excess stomach acid, such as heartburn, acid indigestion, and upset stomach. It combines the active ingredients aluminum hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, and simethicone, which work together to neutralize stomach acid and alleviate gas discomfort.

Dosage

The recommended dosage for Gelusil 100 Tablets is as follows:

• Adults and children over 12 years: Chew 2 to 4 tablets after meals and at bedtime as needed.
• Children under 12 years: Consult a healthcare provider for appropriate dosing.

Do not exceed 12 tablets in a 24-hour period or use the maximum dosage for more than two weeks without medical advice.

Indications

Gelusil is indicated for:

• Relief of heartburn and acid indigestion.
• Management of symptoms associated with excessive stomach acid.
• Alleviation of gas-related discomfort, including belching and bloating.

Contraindications
